Get to know earthwise™
Earthwise™ products are designed with the planet in mind. In order for a product to be considered earthwise™, at least one of its main components must contain more sustainable materials, and at a minimum percentage.
Earthwise™ materials
Here are some of the materials we choose when designing with the planet in mind.
100% Organic Cotton
Grown without the use of toxic chemicals or genetically modified seeds
Recycled Cotton
Helps keep waste out of landfills and requires less water and energy than conventional cotton
TENCEL™ Lyocell X REFIBRA™
Made through a closed loop process that combines upcycled cottom scraps and wood pulp coming from sustainably managed forests.
REPREVE® Recycled Polyester
Made with post-consumer plastic bottles via a process that’s lighter on water usage and greenhouse gas emissions
1Eco-Fiber
A term for more sustainable materials like jute, hemp, and linen—all of which require less water and fewer chemicals than traditional fiber
Eco EVA
Derived from sugarcane, a renewable resource that removes carbon from the air
OrthoLite®Insole
Made with recycled materials, like rubber
Custom TOMS insole
Made with 50% earth-friendly materials (25% recycled PU foam, 15% recycled rubber, 10% bio oil)

We partnered with thredUP, encouraging customers to send in gently worn shoes, clothing and accessories in exchange for TOMS.com credit—providing a platform to buy preloved products, helping keep items out of landfills, and reducing the need for new production.

As a Certified B Corp™, we meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
Leather Working Group
The Leather Working Group (LWG) certifies leather manufacturing facilities based on environmental performance. We source 100% of our leather from gold and silver-rated leather manufacturers.
Canopy
Through our commitment to Canopy’s conservation standards we continue to source all wood-based material from sustainably managed forests.
